Penguin Pools offers many different types of steps for your inground swimming pool. Steps can be a simple fiberglass insert or a custom designed steel step with the liner covering. Steps layout and position can be dictated by the use of an auto cover or a water feature, either way it is laid out with your overall vision of the pool.
Custom Steel Steps
Steel walk-in steps are the oldest and most reliable steps available.
In the past, the liner would just sit on the step making it move each time you walked on it. Today’s steps have a bead liner at the bottom of each riser so the liner doesn’t move when you walk on it, insuring a perfect fit. These are also great steps if you are getting an auto cover.
All of our liners can come with Tread Tex, a traction in the liner to help from slipping.
Bubblers are also available to be installed on any of the steel steps. They are a great way to create a simple water feature and also keep the steps cleaner. Each Bubbler costs $600.

For our customers that are putting an auto cover on their swimming pool and don’t want a steel in-pool step, you have the choice of getting a 6″or 2′ radius corner step. These steps don’t sit outside the pool and allow the auto cover to completely cover the pool.
Fiberglass Sun Deck and Loungers
Sun Deck :: $1,225
Simple wall inserts can give you an added sun ledge to sit and enjoy the sun. These are a great fit to those that people that can’t afford the steel end steps listed above.
These SunLedge’s are 8′ long and have 6″ – 8″ of water on them when the swimming pool is filled. Great as a swimout in the deep end of a pool or just a place to sit and relax.
