Waerford, WI – 2011 APSP Award of Excellence for Residential Pool Renovation
This project was a full rip out and installation of a new custom free form pool. The customer had drawn this pool up based on what he wanted and what he had seen in other pools. The equipment in the pool house was reused and however getting the piping to the equipment proved harder than we first thought. The customer also added a custom waterfall that go built around the slide to make it look integrated.
Since the pool was getting removed, we had to compact the pool as we went to simulate virgin ground. By placing crushed limestone and compacting it down, we are able to give the swimming pool a solid foundation so that it will not shift of settle.
To further enhance the look of the pool, the customer went with a step that matched in vinyl liner. The customer also hooked up this pool equipment, lights, and heater to his home automation system so that he could control it from the house or anywhere in the world that he had an internet connection.
